McGrath Art Therapy
Positive Change Begins at Home

How Does It Work?

As a child or adult client begins to draw certain themes emerge. Unconscious themes may produce feelings, reactions or associations that can be explored. The artwork becomes a springboard for conversation or storytelling that brings up important feelings relating to the individual. Each step in the process brings more clarity to the therapy sessions and helps to shape a plan for treatment. Through expression comes revelation, understanding and healing.
